We took this image of Monster Energy Drink at Speedway in Traverse City, Michigan. We’re looking for web design inspiration everywhere these days – learning how the geometry of patterns entices people to action and then how to incorporate that into our design thinking.

We are also in love with the iPhone photo app Pixl-r-matic, so we’ve been posting a lot of photos to the blog. :)

Here’s a fun picture of some pigs at Echo Bend farm south of Benzonia, Michigan – a charming town southwest of Traverse City. We had a great day hanging out with the Kramer’s by Herring lake. We take great inspiration from nature and the natural surroundings of Lake Michigan.

We were fortunate to get a tour of Echo Bend farm by former IPR host Tom Kramer and his wife. This photo is of their new greenhouse. The farm is south of Benzonia, Michigan in some of the most amazingly beautiful land I’ve ever seen.

The Wilderness Downtown

The Wilderness Downtown is an AMAZING interactive music video from designer Chris Milk who we learned about at the Ted Talks.

At the website, you put an address in and it uses Google Maps and Google Street view to pull images and incorporate them into the video.

Once you put you address in and start the music video, just site back and let it play. Multiple browser windows will open. This is not a virus. It is a new way to incorporate moving images into your desk space and open up your thinking of what a browser can be.

In honor of Sleeping Bear Dunes being named the most beautiful place in America, we went out to Sleeping Bear and took this cool 3D photo on the way. This is one of our favorite roads off M-22. Use your mouse and cursor to manipulate the photo.

We created this on our Ipod Touch using a free app called Photosynth, which we recommend very much.

Take inspiration from everywhere.  We found this great quote about magick from movie star and producer, Nicolas Cage.

“I absolutely believe in magic. You can’t really survive in the arts if you don’t keep the magical child’s mind alive.
