Traverse City Web Design is excited to announce that we have been selected to create the website for the inaugural Elk Rapids Wine and Food Festival, a new Northern Michigan event celebrating local wine, food, cider, craft beverages, and community.
The festival will take place at the Elk Rapids Harbor Pavilion on Saturday, August 29th, from 12PM to 6PM. Set against the beautiful waterfront backdrop of Elk Rapids, Michigan, the event brings together a strong lineup of regional establishments for an afternoon of tasting, gathering, and supporting a good cause. We are excited to be making the website.

A Custom Website for a New Northern Michigan Festival
For the new Elk Rapids Wine and Food Festival website, Traverse City Web Design will be building a custom website using WordPress and WooCommerce as the foundation. This will allow the festival organizers to manage event information, promote participating businesses, and create a simple online experience for visitors who want to learn more and reserve their place at the event.
One of the key features of the website will be an integrated shopping cart system designed to take payments and record reservations. By using WooCommerce, the festival will have a flexible and reliable system for online transactions, while keeping the website easy to update as the event grows in future years.
