For decades, the Traverse City Bay Reps have been a fixture of Northern Michigan winters—hard-skating, fiercely dedicated, and representing a coalition of local schools that have long shared a deep love of the game. This co-op high school hockey program brings together students from across the Grand Traverse region, including Elk Rapids, Glen Lake, Grayling, Kalkaska, Kingsley, Leland, and St. Francis. Their home ice at Centre Ice Arena has seen countless early-morning practices, packed stands, and the kind of gritty, determined play that defines Michigan hockey.

With both boys’ and girls’ varsity teams competing in the Michigan High School Hockey League, the program continues to grow, evolve, and showcase some of the best young talent in the region. Their current season is already underway, with early matchups against teams like Petoskey and Reeths-Puffer fueling the momentum for what is shaping up to be an intense winter on the ice.
