When we took on creating the website for Grand Rapids, Michigan’s hottest Italian restaurant we had one word to work with – Fellini.

If you’re not familiar with the work of the iconic Italian Director Fedrico Fellini, we recommend watching any of his films you can find. He is one of the greatest directors in film history, easily at the same level as directors like Kubrick, Spielberg, Kurisowa.

To evoke Fellini in a website we chose a stark red, black and grey palette, fonts that evoke a retro feeling, and grainy black and white images for the front of the website.

We also designed their logo – a stylish graphic that evokes the elegance of old world Italy – as well as their business cards. They love the site and couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.
