It’s hard to believe we’re already wrapping up another year, but after a very busy first three-quarters of 2024, we decided to dedicate the final quarter to working on us!!!
At TraverseCityWebDesign.com, we’ve been hard at work refreshing our brand, upgrading systems, and streamlining our processes to make sure we’re ready for an even bigger 2025.
Here’s a quick rundown of some exciting changes and projects we’ve been working on!
A Fresh New Look & Major Upgrades
First and foremost, we’ve given TraverseCityWebDesign.com a much-needed facelift. Our website has been revamped with a sleek, modern design and improved functionality. We’re excited about the refreshed look and enhanced user experience, which we hope you’ll love as much as we do. In addition to fine-tuning our site, we’ve also rebranded Traverse City Web Design with a new logo, updated business cards, and fresh contact information. It’s all part of ensuring our brand reflects the high-quality service we offer.
Along with the website redesign, we’ve overhauled our website hosting and management systems. Our entire infrastructure has been upgraded to offer even better performance and security. This includes a major update to our client portal, providing our customers with a more intuitive and streamlined way to manage their websites and hosting services.
To ensure everything is running smoothly, we’ll be performing a year-end hosting audit this December, reviewing all of our client websites to identify areas for improvement and optimization. We believe in proactive maintenance, and this audit is part of our commitment to keeping your sites running at peak performance.
Managing Our Own Digital Properties
While we’ve been busy improving our services, we’ve also been managing and enhancing some of our own web properties. One of our favorite projects is Northern-Collective.com, a great store web made for ourselves, and AboutNorth.com a site that showcases our passion for local Northern Michigan businesses.
We’ve also been working on minor updates for one of our oldest clients: Crusted Creations 231, a Big Rapids-based pizza shop. This is one of the owner’s newer ventures, and as a serial entrepreneur, they’ve entrusted us to design, host, and manage six different websites across their businesses. We love working with long-term clients, and it’s rewarding to see their businesses grow and evolve over time.
Exciting Projects for Our Clients
Of course, we haven’t been neglecting our clients! We’ve been busy updating and optimizing their websites to ensure they’re ready for the busy holiday season. For example, we did a thorough clean-up and systems update for King Orchards, a beloved local cherry farm and online store. Every year, King Orchards sees a huge surge in orders during the holidays, and we’ve made sure their site is ready to handle the expected increase in traffic. As their web design and management team, we’re always happy to ensure their customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience.
We’ve been teaming up with Jim Caruso and the legendary Birdland Jazz Club in New York City—the most historic jazz club in the world—to help bring their “Cast Party Newsletter” to life. Every week, this newsletter is sent out to 15,000 subscribers, including the coolest musicians, jazz cats, Broadway and film superstars, entertainment legends, and loyal fans of Birdland. The “Cast Party Newsletter” is packed with exclusive updates on what’s coming up at Birdland, as well as behind-the-scenes glimpses into the world of jazz’s most iconic venue. Whether it’s a legendary performance, a surprise guest appearance, or a special event, the newsletter keeps everyone in the loop and engaged with the exciting happenings at this iconic club.
We also worked with Eagle Vision (EagleVSN.com), a video production company that recently relocated from San Jose, California to Bend, Oregon. Eagle Vision has been a great client for years, working with major Silicon Valley software companies, and it was essential to ensure their digital presence reflected their new location. We updated their website and Google My Business listings to reflect their move, and made sure everything was fully optimized for their new home base in Bend.
Planning for 2025 and Beyond
As 2024 draws to a close, we’re also looking ahead to the future. We’ve been meeting with potential clients who are in the planning stages for 2025 and are eager to lay out estimates and proposals for new websites and digital projects. We’ve had some really exciting conversations with local Northern Michigan institutions, and we’re looking forward to working on some truly special projects in the coming year.
Without giving too much away, we can say that we’re optimistic about what’s ahead. Our team is energized, and we’re poised for a banner first half of 2025 with some amazing new opportunities on the horizon.
