“Working with Traverse City Web Design has been one of the most successful and pleasant collaborations I’ve had in my career. The team led by Raymond Weigel took great care to understand my personal wants, the specific needs of my profession and what kind of an internet calling card I was looking for. This included getting to know me and my personality, since reflecting that was one of their primary aims in creating something individual for me and my career.” – Maestro Kevin Rhodes
As conductor of the Traverse City Orchestra, the Springfield Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra and a resume that includes conducting everything from New York City’s Nutcracker Ballet to The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Paris Opera House, we knew Maestro Kevin Rhode’s website needed to be something special.
We used a WordPress framework for the base of the site and built a custom theme around it using stark imagery and a primal red, black and white color scheme. This let us capture the intensity of his personality and conducting while still letting the website be very easy to read and engaging.
Kevin worked with us to select the font scheme and we built the entire site around some of the amazing photos he had accumulated throughout his career. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
He, and everyone he shows it to, loves it.
