We’ve made a number of websites for oil and gas companies over the years. Traverse City, Michigan seems to be a hub for smaller oil exploration companies that have oil rigs around the world.
Woodlands Royalty and Minerals are a Texas-based oil company with satellite headquarters in Traverse City, Michigan. They wanted their new website to be simple, professional looking, and to the point. They also wanted it to incorporate the look and feel of Pennsylvania or Ohio – where they purchase mineral rights.
We used blue and green colors for the greenery and blue skies of Ohio and the dark grey of the hills and mountains of Pennsylvania. We also incorporated a beautiful photograph of a Pennsylvania farm into the front page of the website design, as many of their prospective clients are farmers and rural landowners.
