There’s a lot of serious parts here. We designed and built everything. The website has a complete and robust membership system, a very complex banner advertising system, and a lot of other bells and whistles.

I just finished reading THE MOST AMAZING BOOK by Philip K. Dick called “The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch“. In honor of the book, I created this dual monitor wallpaper for my computer and thought I would share it.

The Perky Pat dual monitor wallpaper really only makes sense if you’ve read the book by Philip K. Dick, but even if you haven’t, the wallpaper will still look good on your monitor. You can download it below.

New Website: Carter’s Kids

When Carter Oosterhouse wanted a website for his national charity, Carter’s Kids, he knew he could get any web designer he wanted. But it was important for him to support businesses local to his home town, Traverse City.

The executive director of Carter’s Kids found us. We talked about what their goals were, what information they wanted to present, and how the site would evolve in the future.

This is what we came up with:

We pulled together a lot of different types of media, connected everything to Carter Oosterhouse’s social media streams and hooked it up to Paypal with an easy to use “Donate” system that allows people to give money to the charity online.

New 3d Photosynth Photo : Off M-22 by Sleeping Bear Dunes

In honor of Sleeping Bear Dunes being named the most beautiful place in America, we went out to Sleeping Bear and took this cool 3D photo on the way. This is one of our favorite roads off M-22. Use your mouse and cursor to manipulate the photo.

We created this on our Ipod Touch using a free app called Photosynth, which we recommend very much.

Iconic figures like Muhammad Ali make great desktop wallpapers. This desktop wallpaper of Muhammed Ali was made from a classic boxing photo.

The desktop wallpaper is made for laptops at 1280×728 dpi. We decided to keep the wallpaper's resolution looking good so we saved it as a JPEG at about 1MB.

We created this website for one of the country's top young floral designers, Derek Woodruff. He's also one of the stars of Logo TV's new hit reality show "The Arrangement" – a contest that pit floral designers against one another. Derek was the favorite contestant of the LA Times.

He's fun to work with, makes BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements, and we're happy with how the site came out.

This is a simple portfolio site to show off his work. It is built on a Content Management System so that Derek can update it. We're using Flickr to pull in the photos and have some Youtube videos embedded from his online show – Flower Porn.
