Posted on March, 29, 2012 by insur1 -Traverse City Web Design recently revamped the website for Spinniken Irrigation in Traverse City, Michigan. They service the Leelanau and great Traverse City areas.
Not only did we improve the navigation and make the site look MUCH better, but we also improved it’s search engine rankings and made a header that Matt Spinniken, the owner of the business, could update on his own with new graphics – which he is doing seasonally.

New Website: Carter’s Kids
Posted on November, 29, 2011 by insur1 -When Carter Oosterhouse wanted a website for his national charity, Carter’s Kids, he knew he could get any web designer he wanted. But it was important for him to support businesses local to his home town, Traverse City.
The executive director of Carter’s Kids found us. We talked about what their goals were, what information they wanted to present, and how the site would evolve in the future.
This is what we came up with:
We pulled together a lot of different types of media, connected everything to Carter Oosterhouse’s social media streams and hooked it up to Paypal with an easy to use “Donate” system that allows people to give money to the charity online.
New Website:The Floral Underground
Posted on August, 05, 2011 by insur1 -http://www.thefloralunderground.com
We created this website for one of the country's top young floral designers, Derek Woodruff. He's also one of the stars of Logo TV's new hit reality show "The Arrangement" – a contest that pit floral designers against one another. Derek was the favorite contestant of the LA Times.
He's fun to work with, makes BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements, and we're happy with how the site came out.
This is a simple portfolio site to show off his work. It is built on a Content Management System so that Derek can update it. We're using Flickr to pull in the photos and have some Youtube videos embedded from his online show – Flower Porn.

New Website: Dino’s Pizza in Traverse City, Michigan
Posted on May, 24, 2011 by insur1 -We designed and built this simple but cool, brochure style website for Dino’s Pizza in Traverse City, Michigan. We whittled down their navigation to four basic pages, ultimately creating an online tool to help people order pizza as much as a website.
Visit Dinos Pizza’s new website: www.TCDinosPizza.com
They’re very happy with the results. (“It’s awesome!” – was one quote). In addition to a great new website, Dino’s Pizza also has great pizza and is the only place in Traverse City that delivers pizza for free. Call ‘em up and tell the owner, Bill Nall, that you love the site!

Posted on May, 16, 2011 by insur1 -http://www.weirdnewsradio.com
We made this website for our new podcast with famous internet radio personality, Jim Harold. It’s called Weird News Radio.
We needed something very simple, but with flashy graphics here and there, that was easy to update. A simple, custom wordpress theme let us do just that.
New Website Launch: Landscaping by Huffman in Traverse City, Michigan
Posted on April, 20, 2011 by insur1 -We created this hand-coded site for Traverse City, Michigan landscape designer Randy Huffman at Landscaping by Huffman.
Hand-coding the site in HTML, as opposed to using a content management system like WordPress, let us include A LOT of digital bells and whistles, which you can see if you go to the site. There's little animated treats on every page.
Randy's work is gorgeous and he wanted a gorgeous site that would make his business stand out among the host of other landscape designers in Traverse City, Michigan. He couldn't be more pleased with the results.
New Website Launch: Chad Stuemke
Posted on April, 20, 2011 by insur1 -We launched this new web site for esoteric author and researcher Chad Stuemke. Chad's three books cover a wide range of topics including sacred symbolism embedded in the layouts of urban spaces.
The site was basically a frame and typographical work to support Chad's artwork, articles and videos (he's developed a wide range of work over the past few years).
We also added a small e-commerce element that allows people to purchase Chad's books online.

We chose to create a minimal New Yorker style look and feel.
