Online and Email Marketing Resources for Businesses in Traverse City, Michigan and Beyond

We did an online, web marketing presenetation for the Traverse City Chamber of Commerce for a bunch of Traverse City business owners and had a great time walking them through the basics of web marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and using email to blast their message to their email mailing lists.

During the web markting presentation we supplied the participants with a list of online marketing and SEO resources and links they could use to help them.

We thought we would post it here for all our web visitors, as well as a place to send clients with new websites to get them thinking about web marketing and how to improve, or optimize, their websites for better search engine rankings.

Traverse City Web Design: Sean Harkness Promotional Email Marketing Template

Here’s a promotional email template we made for guitar and bass studio musician, Sean Harkness.  Sean had some amazing photos we got to choose from.  We decided to go with something airy and beautiful like his music.

This promotional email is for a gig he’s doing on the 67th floor of Rockefeller Center, but it was designed so that he could use it multiple times with upcoming shows.

We are administrating the send of the email.  He simply gave us his 3000 person mailing list and we’re able to send it out and get a full set of statistics back on who opened it and what they did when it was opened.

New Email Campaign:American Songbook Project

We made a series of ten different graphic emails, and a complete invitation set (invitation, response card, and two envelopes) for the The Songbook Project's annual fund-raising gala.  

The Songbook Project is a New York City based non-profit that brings Broadway and cabaret performers into schools to perform.  This helps educate the students in art and keeps the art of the American song alive.

Here's one of the emails.  Each of the emails featured a different performer.

This is an example of 10 online promotional emails we created for The American Songbook Project's annual fundraiser.  The organization and the fundraiser take place in New York City, New York.

We created about 20 promotional pieces with the organization's chairman, Michael Estwanik.  These included creating, administrating and sending multiple promotional emails, as well as the event's paper invitation and response card. 

The event raised so much money it was featured in the Wall Street Journal.  You can read about it here:
